PRESENT:        Chairman Perry; Members, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Byrnes, Ms. Lambert, Ms. Pinckney and Mr. Mignogna

GUBITZ RESIDENCE – 11 PARK AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to replace existing 5’ high chain link fence with a 6’ high cedar wood fence.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Gubitz – 11 Park Avenue - I have reviewed this application to replace the existing 5 ft. high chain link fence with a 6 ft. high cedar wood fence and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the replacement of existing 5’ high chain link fence with a 6’ high cedar wood fence (support side facing into the property) at 11 Park Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department January 28, 2010.

SWAGAT HALAL INDIAN CUISINE – 19 NORTH BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans for a new awning sign in the Broadway Sign District.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve a new awning sign in the Broadway Sign District at 19 North Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 17, 2010.  

FORLENZA RESIDENCE – 5 EMERALD WOODS

The Board reviewed plans to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Forlenza – 5 Emerald Woods - I have reviewed this application to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the removal of existing gravel driveway and replacement with permeable pavers (Golden Onyx and Ruby Onyx) at 5 Emerald Woods as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 23, 2010 and March 9, 2010.

GLEIT RESIDENCE – 64 BARNES ROAD

Mr. Matthew Behrens, architect, reviewed with the Board plans for new dormers on second floor.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Gleit Residence – 64 Barnes Road - I have reviewed this application for new dormers on the second floor and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve new dormers on the second floor at 64 Barnes Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 24, 2010.

RUSINKO RESIDENCE – 87 ALTAMONT AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to replace front entry door.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Rusinko Residence – 87 Altamont Avenue - I have reviewed this application to replace front entry door and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve replacement of front entry door at 87 Altamont Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department March 2, 2010.

STASSA RESIDENCE – 2 EMERALD WOODS

The Board reviewed plans to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Stassa – 2 Emerald Woods - I have reviewed this application to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the removal of existing gravel driveway and replacement with permeable pavers (Toffee Onyx) at 2 Emerald Woods as shown on the plans received by the Building Department March 9, 2010.

CANTON RESIDENCE – 9 EMERALD WOODS

The Board reviewed plans to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Canton – 9 Emerald Woods - I have reviewed this application to remove existing gravel driveway and replace with permeable pavers and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the removal of existing gravel driveway and replacement with permeable pavers (Onyx Chestnut) at 9 Emerald Woods as shown on the plans received by the Building Department March 9, 2010.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board Board’s January 20, 2010 meeting be approved as submitted.  Ms. Pinckney, Ms. Lambert and Mr. Perry abstained.  Motion carried.

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board Board’s February 17, 2010 meeting be approved as submitted.  Mr. Mignogna abstained.  Motion carried.

MEETING ADJOURNED at 9:00 p.m.
